Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Bale International Airport (Addis Ababa) where you will be met by Destiny Ethiopia Tour and Travel representative and transfer to hotel. O/N – Hotel

Day 2: Drive to Melka-Kunatre archeological site, Tiya stelaes &Adadi Mariam Church 
An early morning drive will take you 50kms South of Addis Ababa to Melka-Kunture (Prehistoric Site lies near the Awash River Gorge is one of the most important archeological sites in Ethiopia, where hand axes and various other implements have been found). Then drive a detour for 17 km on the gravel road to visit Adadi Mariam church (a 13th century rock-hewn church that is Ethiopia’s southern most church of its type). You will have lunch in the bush. 
Then continue to visit the Tiyastelae a UNESCO heritage, where of a peculiar type of engraved, grave marking standing stelae, believed to have been erected between the 12th and 14th centuries stand. Overnight Hotel in Butajira

Day 3: Drive to Dilla 
Right after breakfast, an early morning drive will take you to Dilla. En route, you will make a stop on Awash River and Lake Ziway to visit aquatic birds. You will have lunch in Awassa. You will be arriving in Dilla late in the afternoon. Overnight Hotel.

Day 4: Visit the archeological sites of Tutu Fela&Tututi 
After breakfast you will be driven to visit also the stelae sites Tutu Fela (Tutu Fela is probably one of the most impressive sites contain about 80 ancient stelae which are variously carved with facial feature, phalluses etc. indicating the brave or sex of the person buried underneath), Tututi (lies on the hill 2.3km from the village of Chelba. It consists of some very large, tapering, generally un-carved standing stones with marking grave) and Socoro Sodo stelae field. Overnight stay in Aregash lodge

Day 5: Drive to Konso 
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Konso (330 Km from Dilla) and you will stop for lunch at Yabelo (200 Km from Dilla). Stay at Konso. Overnight Hotel. 

Day 6: Visit the Konso Archeological Sites 
Right after breakfast, an early morning drive will take you to a archeological sites in Konso those are well-known for the Australopithecus boisei fossils. You will have lunch in Konso. Then in the afternoon visit the Konso Village and their cultural landscape. Overnight Hotel.

Day 7: Drive to WolaytaSodo 
After breakfast, you will be driven to WolaytaSodo (215 Km, from Konso). Upon arrival, you will check into a hotel. After a brief rest and lunch. You will visit MocheBoragoGongolo Cave and cave paintings in Wolayta. Overnight stay at Wolayta Sodo Hotel

Day 8: Drive back to Addis Ababa
Drive back to Addis, afternoon visit National and Archeological Museum, Evening farewell dinner and departure.
