Terms and Conditions

Bookings:– Contracts and agreements will be valid consequent to Destiny Ethiopia Tour and Travel (DETT) , confirmation of the booking by fax, e-mail, letter or telephone. At the time of confirmation, a deposit of 25% of the total cost is requested. The remaining amount of the total cost shall be paid 30 days before the commencement of the tour. Unless prior arrangements have been made, DETT is not indebted to conduct the tour if complete payment has not been received.

Cancellations: – Abolition of confirmed bookings received more than 30 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of US $50 per person. Cancellation received between 30 and 15 days prior to departure will be subject to a penalty of 50% of the total rate of the tour. Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to departure will be subject to relinquishment of the entire tour rate. DETT strongly recommends trip cancellation insurance.

Responsibility and Liability: – Only the laws of Ethiopia govern DETT’s liability to passengers transported in its own vehicles and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia in which the cause of action arises. Although every possible care is taken to safeguard you and your property, DETT accepts no liability for loss or damage of any personal effects. DETT will dispose its best efforts to assist visitors when dealing with third parties such as hotels, airlines and other transport companies and travel agents. However, DETT cannot be held responsible for any loss or harm such as sickness, injury, death or additional costs incurred due to denied boarding, overbooking, cancellation or delay caused by the third party.

Itineraries: – Only selected itineraries are arranged here, however, numerous types of tours that suit the traveler’s convenience can be organized. Combined tours can also be arranged on request. Tour itineraries are subject to change: Ethiopia is full of surprises. We need to be flexible enough to take advantage of any changes in the Ethiopia travel environment so we may provide you with the best possible tour. Sometimes attractions close with no advanced warning. In these cases, Passion Ethiopia Tours will make its best effort to replace that attraction with another suitable and comparable replacement. Uncompleted portions of the tour itinerary are not cause for refund.

Prices: – DETT’s tour prices can be provided upon request.

Not Included in the Tour Price :- Customs and Immigration; International Airfare; security fee; airport taxes and fees; passports; visas and vaccinations; laundry; telephone; mini bar; alcoholic beverages except at the farewell dinner party at the end of the trip, Photographic fees, Tip, and all other items of a personal nature.
